Tintagel Cliff
We recently supplied a new Agricultural Building to a farm based in Tintagel, Cornwall.
The new building has been erected near some cliffs which make it subject to strong winds and adverse weather.
The building is 19.000 long by 12.000 wide by 3.650 to the eaves with a 20 degree roof pitch. The building was designed by civil engineers who determined sizes of sections strong enough to withstand strong winds.
The building is clad with lapped Yorkshire boarding and the roof material is 0.7mm single skin juniper green box profile. A wall will be built underneath the timber boarding.
All the steelwork is galvanized which ensures a quality finish and a long lasting life which is vital with this building being subject to the sea air and strong winds.
There is also an electric operated roller shutter door in one side of the building with a pedestrian door on the other end for easy access.
The building was erected by J.A.S Construction who are one of our national erecting teams.
