North Somerset
We have finally managed to get some pictures of our large agricultural building in North Somerset. The building is a large 220ft (67.056m) long and 82ft (24.993m) wide.
The pictures below show the building in the final stages of erection with only the cladding left to be added on one side and to the eaves level on both gable ends. The main purpose of this building will be for the housing of livestock and general storage.
Our customer, Mr Boley, who is a livestock farmer Somerset, told us he is delighted with the new building: “I am really very pleased with the building and also the customer service, it is a breath of fresh air as you have been proactive and gone out of your way to help and advise. Everyone who has seen the building has been highly impressed with the quality and spec and there is no question that when me or the erector needs another building we will come straight to you.”
He has even now gone on to purchase an aircraft hanger from us.
The large overhang on one side of the building has been constructed carefully and structurally by our design team to ensure there is no sagging in the steel or roof. The roof consists of a profile 6 Eternit Fibre Cement roof in a natural grey finish with a open protected ridge through the centre of the building to enhance ventilation for livestock.
This is one of our larger projects and it is safe to say it went together perfectly.
