We have finally got some new pictures of our new Industrial Building being erected in Lostwithiel, Cornwall for Mr Dustow by Alan Facey who is one of our erecting teams. The building is yet to have the 5.600 metre overhangs so you can imagine how much bigger it will look with those on. We generally do Agricultural Buildings but are finding there is more interest from customers who want us to design Industrial Buildings.
This is what Mr Dustow had to say about his new building:
“South West Steel Construction ltd were our choice of shed provider in 2012 when we commited to them to buy our new Potato packing/washing and refrigerated storage plant,
The company did exactly what they promised right from the beginning and this was to provide a high quality building built to my exact requirements and most importantly the shed was delivered exactly when required which I note was short notice.
The building has a 5.7mtr overhang which was essential to the operations of the plant and South West Steel Construction were the only company to be able to come up with a design which worked perfectly and didnt cost the earth. Also the shed has 120mm roof and 100mm sides of composit panels on the refrigerated half which is a very high spec of insulation which was key to the buildings overall low running cost and the roof has the strength to take PV panels in the future. These key features were no problem to South West Steel Ltd and again did not make the price to strong.
When we go to extend the building we will definitely be going back to South West Steel Construction again and they have designed the existing shed to easily allow for future expansion.”
