3MS Construction

We have recently provided a project for 3MS Construction http://www.3msconstruction.co.uk/static/ in St Austell, Cornwall. The project is designed to an industrial specification and will be used to store two new Biomass Boilers. The building is 17.561m long by 8.760m wide by 3.500m to the eaves with a 20° roof pitch. The building uses a Euroclad secret fix SF500 profile sheet in a RAL 7038 grey colour. On the sides of the building is clad with Thermowood machine-faced horizontal timber on Metsec Z Purlin cladding rails.

A biomass boiler allows you to produce your own electricity from agricultural and urban residues and waste. This method is more environmentally friendly because the type of energy produced has a limited long term effect on the environment because of the carbon in biomass is part of the natural carbon cycle, while the carbon in fossil fuels is not and is permanently adding more carbon dioxide to the environment when burned for fuel.

South West Steel Construction is committed to being environmentally friendly wherever possible.

Below are the early stages of the steel frame being erected by Yan Bowen Steel Buildings, who is one of our national erecting teams.
