We have recently supplied a new steel frame agricultural building to the Duchy of Cornwall Estate.
The building is 42.000 (138′) long by 34.000 (112′) wide by 4.572 (15′) to eaves. It has been constructed with a centre building of 12.100 (40′) and lean to’s either side of this 10.950 (36′) wide.
The building has a Farmscape Anthracite Dark Grey Eternit Fibre Cement roof with an open protected ridge to enhance ventilation. The roof overhangs by 300mm on each side of the building. There are 112 skylights within the roof.
The building is clad around with tanalised timber Yorkshire Boarding with dungwalling underneath.
The building is still in the early stages of being erected by one of our sub contracted erecting teams.
The main purpose of the new building will be for housing and feeding cattle.
